| Agriculture in the Central Valley produces 57% of California's agricultural products. While it is the Valley's economic base, it also provides healthy and nutritious food for the state, the nation and the world. In addition, agriculture also provides open space, a rural way of life, flood control, ground recharge and habitat for a large variety of wildlife.
GVC's Agricultural Programs are focused in three areas:
• Sustainable Agriculture
• Regional Food Systems
• Agricultural Transactions Program
