The Great Valley Center's
mission is to support organizations and activities that benefit
the economic, social and environmental well-being of
California's Great Central Valley. This mission is carried
out through a set of targeted
programs.
Each initiative brings the Center in contact with a
different network of people working to improve the region.
By serving the central resource point, the Center has
been able to encourage people to work together throughout

Great Valley Leadership
Institute
A venue for local elected officials to acquire value-based
leadership skills from the top experts in the nation.
Institute for the Development
of Emerging Area Leaders (IDEAL)
A public policy leadership development program geared
towards working professionals.

a manner
