TIP OF THE DAY

Plug all of your computer equipment into a power strip and then turn off the power strip when the computer is not in use. This eliminates phantom power usage by computers and support equipment. Phantom power usage occurs when equipment that is supposedly turned off actually consumes power while it is in “standby” mode.
