Summit Overview

The Annual Summit for the California Partnership for the San Joaquin Valley will be held on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007 at the Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, California.

The Summit program begins at noon and continues to 5:00 PM. The event is an opportunity for the Partnership to report to the community at large on the work, progress, and accomplishments of this unprecedented regional collaborative effort . The Summit will include a keynote address by an expert on regions and regional actions, an overview of the partnership actions to date and the presentation of the partnership annual report. The program will also include interactive breakout sessions presented by each of the 10 Partnership Work Groups.

Eligibility

Staff and/or volunteers who work for local San Joaquin Valley nonprofit organizations on community projects or programs may apply for complimentary attendance. Applicants should demonstrate that attending will be a benefit for themselves, their organization and their community as well as financial need.
