Why Give to the Great Valley Center?
By 2020, California’s Great Central Valley will have a larger population than the San Francisco Bay Area. Preparing for the impact of this growth on the region’s roads, schools, resources and economy requires a long term outlook, good information, and leaders from a broad cross section of the region. The Great Valley Center is the only nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working to strengthen the entire Valley as a region.

The Center is working to improve life in the Valley for everyone so that we might have a brighter, healthier and more prosperous future for the region.

The Great Valley Center is giving a new pride and recognition to a region that has long been unrecognized and has a very diverse cultural population.

The Great Valley Center is an organization like no other. We are often behind the scenes bringing folks together as a covener or working as a catalyst for change.

There is no other organization providing a region wide perspective—established to build the capacity of the region to increase its ability to act in its own behalf.

Because of the Great Valley Center’s work, community leaders, decision makers, and business people notice the potential of the region that stretches from Redding to Bakersfield.
